Bright Skies, Long Shadows

A deeply personal poetry collection exploring the emotional rollercoaster of living with bipolar disorder

Bright Skies, Long Shadows is a collection of poems about love, loss, family, trauma, life after divorce, death, chaos and, ultimately, hope, as experienced through the lens of someone living with bipolar disorder.

This collection’s dark imagery, savage rawness and unflinching candor will touch a nerve, perhaps draw a tear and maybe, just maybe, share the author’s infectious zeal for life, which – in all its chapters, even its darkest ones – really is worth living.

Features a bonus short story, Circles.

Reviews

“Dark, Beautiful”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Really enjoyed the debut poetry collection from this up and coming Australian author. Often dark, written beautifully, it takes you through an intimate series of poems about struggles with mental health, parenthood, toxic relationships and everyday life. Haunting, visceral and occasionally joyous. A great read.
